William B. "Ocsi" Dobosy Jr.

William B. “Ocsi” Dobosy Jr., 50 of Gaylord, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at home.  Born in Southfield, MI on July 3, 1965, Bill was the son of William B. Sr. and Katalin (Szanto) Dobosy.  He was a 1983 graduate of Redford Union High School.

Bill lived in Redford before moving to Gaylord in 2005.  He worked as a welder and fabricator.  Bill was an avid hunter who loved the outdoors.  He loved cars and trucks, enjoyed turning a wrench and could fix anything.  Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he was loved by everyone.  He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone at anytime.

Bill is survived by his two sons, William B. “Bj” Dobosy III of and Brian M. Dobosy both of Redford; his father and stepmother, William B. and Doreen Dobosy of Gaylord; sisters, Mary (Ken) Nowak of Menominee and Lori (Steve) Ferguson of Gaylord; nieces and nephews, Mark (Taurie) Smith, Nick (Paige) Nowak, Jon (Caiti) Nowak, Janelle (Brad) Balagna and Kenny (Sheila) Nowak as well as several great and great great nieces and nephews; his close friend, Pat Carol and his beloved dogs, Gauge and Coco.  Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Katalin Dobosy in 1987 and a step brother, Robert Moss in 2006.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service where the family will visit with friends beginning at 12:00 P.M.  Interment next to his mother at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield will be at a later date.
