Wilbert V. “Web” Wojnaroski, 79 of Gaylord, died on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Born on July 20, 1934 in Raber, Web was the son of Henry and Lorene (Waybrant) Wojnaroski. On September 19, 1953 he married Jacquelyn F. Benson in Goetzville. Web served honorably in the Army National Guard. As a Michigan State Park manager for over 30 years, the family lived in Flint, Clio, Muskegon, Pontiac, Brimley and, finally in St. Ignace where he retired at the Park Manager there in 1996. He was a member of the St. Mary Cathedral Parish. Web enjoyed making Rosaries, crocheting, fishing and volunteering at R.S.V.P. A supporter of the American Red Cross, he was a lifelong blood donor. Web is survived by Jackie, his wife of 61 years; his daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Wayne Larson of Gaylord; his son and daughter-in-law, Gary Wojnaroski and Bonnie Crysler of Pinckney; grandchildren, Brian (Barbara) Wojnaroski, Jason (Katrina) Wojnaroski, Stacia Wojnaroski, Kyle Larson and Kory (Tiffany) Larson; 4 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Vicky Wynn of Raber and Wilma Schmitigal of St. Ignace. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Korte and a brother, Henry Wojnaroski Jr. Web’s family will visit with friends at Gaylord Community Funeral Home, 850 North Center Avenue, on Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 3:00-8:00 PM where the St. Mary Altar Rosary Society will pray the rosary at 3:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 17, 2014 at St. Mary Cathedral, 606 N. Ohio St. where visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
