Wesley R. Hunt

Wesley Rea Hunt, 86 of Gaylord, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at home. Born on May 19, 1936 in Atlanta, Michigan, he was the son of Ray and Marion (Corey) Hunt.

On April 13th, 1957 Wesley married Maxine Kreger. He had a long career as a builder in Gaylord. Wesley enjoyed fishing, rides in the Pigeon River Forest, feeding the birds, mushroom picking, and the great outdoors.

He is survived by Maxine, his wife of 65 years; his children, Michael (Lori) Hunt of Gaylord, Tim Hunt of Gaylord, Gail (Greg) Tulgetske of Gaylord, Janice Hunt and (Mike Wells) of Gaylord, Jeff Hunt of Gaylord; 1 brother, Kevin Hunt of Frederic; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Patrick; his daughter, Mary; his two brothers, Ronald Hunt and Herbert Hunt.
