Wendy K. Tompkins

Wendy Kay Tompkins, 58 of Gaylord, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 29, 2022

Born in Highland Park, Michigan on March 16, 1964, she was the daughter of Paul and Diane (Berg) Glesen.

With an associates degree in business management, Wendy worked as a secretary in the gas and oil industry.  In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time on the watery, camping and fishing.  She was also an avid photographer, enjoyed crocheting, reading, watching football, listening to Motown music and cats.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Mark; her children, Tom (Jess) Peacock of Wayland, Rachel Glesen of Alpena; grandchildren, Carter, Zoe, Lindsey, Mason, and Chloe; her father, Paul (Paulette) Glesen of Sterling Heights; and brothers, Tom (Jackie) Glesen, Don Glesen and Mike (Mariz) Glesen.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Diane Belanger.

A celebration of her life will be scheduled for this fall.  Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions in her memory to Munson/Otsego Memorial Hospital Cancer & Infusion Center.
