Wendi Ann Wing

Wendi A. Wing, 41 of Gaylord passed away July 1, 2015 after a long illness.

Wendi was born in Twentynine Palms, CA on August 14, 1973. In 1991, she graduated from John Glenn High School in Bay City. In 2001, she graduated from Davenport University in Lansing where she obtained a degree in Physical Therapy. After living in Lansing for several years, Wendi and her family moved to Gaylord in 2004. She worked at Otsego Memorial Hospital for several years as a Physical Therapist. Wendi enjoyed being a mother to her 3 special children and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving children, Helena Ann (12) and Elizabeth Christine Wing (11) and Logan Earl Harper (3); her parents, Michael Carr of Detour and Barbara Carr of Sault Ste. Marie; a sister, Brett Carr of Sault Ste. Marie; her former husband, Justin Wing and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Elizabeth Carr and Willard Walker and Lola Calder.

A memorial gathering celebrating Wendi’s life will take place at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 2043 Marion Court, Frederic, MI where all are welcome to join the celebration. Wendi will be buried at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens next to her grandpa, “Ray,” in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Arrangements are by Gaylord Community Funeral Home, 850 N. Center Avenue.
