Vivian R. Scott, 82 of Vanderbilt, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Otsego Memorial Hospital.
Born in Detroit on February 1, 1934, Vivian was the daughter of Charles and Kathleen (Boetticher) Liederman. Vivian worked for many years at Consumers Power and the former G&L Industries in Mount Clemens. She also had her own business preparing income tax returns.
Following the death of her mother when Vivian was in her teens, she took care of her younger siblings. Throughout her life she found joy in helping and doing things for others. She often made blankets and hats for young mothers in need and she enjoyed making quilts for homebound veterans. Her greatest joy was in her family and they will remember her love of family gatherings.
Vivian is survived by her children, Loyd (Joni) Scott of Algonac, Carolyn (Brad) Fulker of Casco, Brenda (Jeff) Sharp of Vanderbilt and Melinda Martel of Shelby Township; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth Liederman of Roseville, Charles (Letha) Liederman of Atlanta, Butch Liederman of Titusville and Raymond (Jackie) Thornlow of Indian River; and several nieces and nephews.
Vivian’s family will remember her privately. Arrangements are by Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Please share your memories and personal messages with the family at www.gaylordfuneralhome.com
