Virginia Ann Clark

Virginia Ann Clark, 66 of Grayling, died at home on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Born on November 14, 1947 in Greenville, she was the daughter of Max and Pluma (Thuston) Wilcox.

Virginia graduated from Greenville High School and attended Ferris State University. She enjoyed raising her family and being a homemaker but had also worked as a pharmacy technician and a grocery clerk. She enjoyed her family and friends, taking walks, collecting rocks and reading and watching murder mysteries.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Orland Z. Clark of Grayling; her daughter, DeAnne (Mark) Swiercz of Grayling; her son, Chris (Renee) Wood of Grayling; grandchildren, Nicholas (Amanda) Tompkins, Krystalyn Wood, Chandler Swiercz, Anna Wood, Ellice Cross and Laura (Cross) Parker; and 6 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her special friends, Tony, Pat, Amy, Kristy & Kurt, Orvetta, Dar, Sharon, Bob and Mark. She was preceded in death by a sister, Diana (Wilcox) Biddle.

Virginia’s family will remember her with a private family gathering. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Crawford County Animal Shelter or the Crawford County Library.
