Vera P Legleiter

Vera P. Legleiter, 79 of Hays, KS and formerly of Gaylord, died on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at home. Born on May 29, 1934 in Hays, KS she was the daughter of Henry and Marcella (Speier) Wilson. She married Paul Legleiter on July 26, 1952. The family lived in Gaylord for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul and a son, Mark Troy. Surviving are sons, Mike Legleiter of Garden City, KS and Tom Legleiter of Freeland, MI; a daughter, Paula Sue Murtonen of Houston, TX; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Hays, KS at Brock’s North Hill Chapel on October, 7, 2013. Interment with a graveside service was held Monday, October 14, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery in Gaylord. Local arrangements were handled by Gaylord Community Funeral Home, 850 North Center Avenue. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
