Troy Lewis Greenier, 79 of Harbor Springs, MI passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025, at McLaren Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan. 

Troy was born on May 3, 1945, in Petoskey, MI to Russell and Jennie (Wardell) Greenier and was raised in Harbor Springs MI. 

Troy served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force for five years during the Vietnam War. After military service, he worked for the Harbor Point Association for thirty-eight years as the Supervisor of Horse Transportation.

 A lifelong outdoorsman, Troy cherished his time spent hunting, fishing and camping. He loved cigars around a campfire and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, he looked forward to attending the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. He was an avid bowler, and nothing made him happier than watching his children and grandchildren compete in sports. He was a quiet man who loved to read and spend time with family, and he never gave up an opportunity to dance. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Shirley Greenier

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years Joyce (Bellant) daughters: Kelley (Eugene) of River Vale, New Jersey; Heidi (Robert) of Punta Gorda, Florida; twin sons: Nelson (Jessica) of Johannesburg, Michigan; Vincent (Moon) of Sharjah, UAE; ten grandchildren: Liam, Brooke, Robert, Kaylee, Josephine, James Troy, Logan, Lucas, Peyton and Jaelyn; two step grandchildren: Holly and Treyton; his sister Judy (John) of Southgate, Michigan and many nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
