Teresa Jean Wilson

Teresa Jean Wilson, 46 of Grayling and formerly of Gaylord, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at Munson Healthcare, Grayling Hospital. Born November 13, 1969 in Grand Rapids, Teresa was the daughter of Jack C. and Jean S. Tripp.  She moved with her family to Gaylord in her teens.

A certified nurse assistant, Teresa worked for several years at Tendercare Gaylord and for Northern Management at Pinehaven AFC. Teresa enjoyed helping and caring for others, always putting their needs first.  She also loved dogs, taking long walks, camping and playing computer games.

On July 18, 2013 she married Robert J. Wilson, who survives.  Also surviving are her mother, Jean S. Tripp of Gaylord; four step children, Robert H. Wilson and Tiffany M. Wilson both of Gaylord, and Cheryl H. Wilson and Stephen J. Wilson both of Clare; brothers, Martin A. (Andrea) Tripp of Wisconsin, Michael E. (Kristina) Tripp and William A. Tripp of Gaylord; several nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law, Mary Wilson of Roscommon; and her many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, father-in-law and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service where the family will visit with friends beginning at 4:00 PM.  Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to Teresa’s family. Please share your memories and personal messages with her family at www.gaylordfuneralhome.com
