My lovely wife Tana Yvonne Adamczyk, 55 of Gaylord, passed away at home on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
Born in Detroit, Michigan on June 28, 1965, she was the daughter of John Dye and Shirley Watts Henderson. She grew up in Detroit and Gaylord MI and was a 1983 graduate of Gaylord High School.
At 12 years old Tana's family moved from Detroit to Gaylord MI. She was overly dedicated to her job as store manager of Burger King North for 27 years.
Tana adored her two children Cody and Dustin, along with all of her nieces and nephews and great nieces and her two granddaughters.
She believed in Jesus Christ and she loved Christmas, which was a very special time of the year for her.
Tana enjoyed facebooking and keeping in touch with relatives and friends near and far away. One of her major weaknesses was snowmen in any form, be it made out of snow, on a christmas card, or an ornament. Tana did enjoy our big plastic snowman on the porch, she loved all of her snowmen!
Tana enjoyed doing bead art and other crafts. She loved cooking in her crock pot and her pressure cooker. She loved spending time watching both of her boys play all of their sports from peewee to high school. And still today in my jacket pockets and in my car I find she has chapstick hidden all over so she is never without it.
On August 10, 2019 Tana married Scott J. Adamczyk at Irontone Springs in Gaylord.
In addition to her husband, Tana is survived by her son, Cody Proctor (Heather) and their children Hailey and Reese; her son Dustin Proctor; her parents: Shirley Henderson (Keith) and John Dye; her sister, Tisa Appleton (Gary); nephew David Appleton (Mackenzie); niece Katelyn Johnston (Justin) and their children Juliet and Aria; her sister, April Dietrich (Robert); nephew Bradley Dye (Samarah) and their daughter Alice, niece Vanessa Dye, nephew Christian Dietrich; step brother, Nicholas Henderson (Elizabeth); step brother Tony Henderson; Aunt Patsy Ludwig.
Brother-in-law, Todd Adamczyk (Rolene) and their children Sasha, Jacob(Laura), and Owen; brother-in-law, Dan Adamczyk (Lisa), their son Nickolas Adamczyk(Lacey) and children Hailey and Addison, and their daughter Lindsey Brabaw (Brandon) and children Brooklyn, Kendall, and Zoey.
She was preceded in death by, Papaw Ersel Ray Watts, Mamaw Thelma Lee Dorris Watts, mother and father- in- laws Aloysius and Marilyn (Sinn) Adamczyk, and many family members.
Tana is Mom's little bit of heaven.
