Tamara Sue Adams, 56 of Onaway, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey. Born on March 24, 1959 in Lansing, she was the daughter of George and Mary (Neff) VanAlstine.
Tammy was a longtime Certified Nurse Assistant, working for many years at Tendercare in Cheboygan and Bortz Healthcare in Petoskey. She will be remembered for her hard work and dedication to the residents. Tammy was an avid photographer and the owner of White Birch Imagery. She also enjoyed painting.
Surviving are her children, Mallory Pardee of Alanson, Maranda Pardee and Mariah Pardee both of Petoskey, John Pardee of Anchorage, AK and Cristy Pardee of Petoskey; four grandchildren, her mother, Mary Pardee of Cheboygan; and brothers Rick VanAlstine, Rodney VanAlstine of and Ray VanAlstine. She was preceded in death by her father and by a brother, Robin VanAlstine.
