Signa Joy Kerr

In Loving Memory of Signa Sinnerud Fox Kerr - 

January 29, 1946 - July 29, 2023

Signa passed away peacefully on July 29th in Gaylord, Michigan at the age of 77.

She grew up in Beaverton, Oregon, on January 29, 1946, to Austin and Janis Sinnerud. 

In her youth Signa was a Portland dance champion. Later, she attended Gonzaga University, where she further cultivated her love for learning and developed lifelong friendships. She met her husband, Jim Fox while attending college there.

Signa married Jim Fox, and together they raised their two boys, Jeff Fox and John Fox, in Vancouver, Washington.

After raising her children, Signa pursued a career as a flight attendant, and her charming personality and caring nature made her a beloved figure among passengers. She spent most of her career with Southwest Airlines, where she touched the lives of many with her warm smile and attentive service.

Later in life, Signa relocated to Chandler, Arizona, where she embraced the desert landscape and made a life for herself there with husband Robert Kerr.

Eventually, she found a new chapter in her life in northern Michigan, where she spent the last eight years. The picturesque beauty of the area provided solace and tranquility, making it a place she called home.

Signa is survived by her loving sons, Jeff Fox of Gaylord, Michigan, and John Fox of Evanston, Illinois.
