Shirley Lucille Erwin

Shirley Lucille Erwin peacefully went home to heaven on December 1st, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born on July 4th, 1941 to Wilbert and Evelyn Jann (Schramm) of Niles, Mi.

A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to all. Her Favorite things were family gatherings (to be around the children), reading, movies, and casino trips. Shirley was always forgiving and willing to give others more than she had. Known for being strong-minded, she carried her nickname of “Sassy Pants” with pride. She was full of life and always said what was on her mind without hesitation. Shirley was very proud of all her children and grandchildren that she was able to care for over the years. She will be greatly missed.

Shirley is survived by her four children; Stephen (Teresa) Erwin, William Erwin, Troy Erwin, and Connie Flannigan. Six grandchildren; Stephen Paul (Rachelle) Erwin, William Michael Erwin, Phillip Erwin, Justin Ely, Krystal (Cody) Maynard, and Brytany (Arron) Smith. Ten great grandchildren; Chloe Erwin, Landen McCalib, Jada Erwin, Mya Erwin, Eli Hahn, Ivey Adams, Zoey Maynard, Bailey Maynard, Maxwell Maynard, and Michael Erwin; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.

She is preceded in death by many loved ones of Niles, and Gaylord Michigan.

She will be remembered privately by her family and loved ones. No services are planned at this time.
