Shirley Jean Cramer

Shirley Jean Cramer, Age 88, of Petoskey, MI passed away on March 6, 2024. She was born on August 9, 1935, to Henry and Wanda Tessmer. Two of her siblings, Ella Fenske and Harold Tessmer preceded her in death. Her youngest brother, Marvin Tessmer, remains.

Shirley married Leon Kneeshaw in 1955 and they raised four children: David, Cindy, Denise and Debra.

Leon passed away in 2006. In 2013, Shirley married Rex Cramer of Petoskey and spent the last ten years staying active and going to Arizona in the winter.

In 1976, along with her husband and three of her children, she dedicated herself to her Creator, Jehovah, and became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed sharing the Bible’s message of a brighter future with people in her community. She awaits a resurrection to paradise conditions on a cleansed earth. [Job 14:14, 15, John 5:28, 29]

In keeping with her wishes, the family will remember Shirley privately.
