Our beautiful, sweet mother passed away peacefully at home, Friday December 20, 2024. Surrounded by family and her beloved cat, Mr. Blue. She was 84 years old.

She was born January 31, 1940 in Detroit to Bert and Ethel Joy Martens.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Scott) Logan; son Donald (Wendy) DeMeulenaere II; brothers, Bruce(Susan) Martens, Richard(Mary) Martens, Donald( Kathryn) Martens, Bert(Judy) Martens, and sister Christine(Edward) Weiss. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt England.

Sharron loved her cat Mr. Blue and her flower gardens. Daffodils and tulips were her favorite flowers. She enjoyed quilting and dining out. She especially loved Michigan's changing seasons. Her family and friends always came first. She loved spending time with everyone. Sharron was always there to help whomever needed her. She believed in always looking forward, never looking back. Her favorite saying was "It is what it is." She will be missed dearly by so many.

In keeping with her wishes, Sharron will be interred quietly and privately at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Leader Dogs for the Blind or St. Judes Children's Hospital.
