Sharon K. Taylor DeVor

Sharon K. Taylor-DeVor, 67 of Johannesburg, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.

Born in Pikeville, KY on April 4, 1950, Sharon was the daughter of Wade and Elizabeth (Robinson) Taylor.  She lived many years in Trenton, where she worked at Southshore Hospital.  Later moving to the Gaylord area, she was retired from Otsego Memorial Hospital.  In retirement, she enjoyed helping out her friend Linda Morgan at her store, Wooly Buggers in Gaylord.

Always fashionable, Sharon was a kind and loving lady, generous to those around her.  An animal lover, she had a special bond with her dog, Toby.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lloyd DeVor in 2012.  Surviving are her brother, Ronald Taylor of Ypsilanti; her niece, Shana Lee Madaski of Ypsilanti; great nieces, Katelin and Jessica Madski; her step-daughter, Susan (Jeff) Begeman of Montebello, VA; step-son, Jerry DeVor of Honolulu, HI; sister in law, Wilma DeVor; and brother and sister in law, James (Faith) DeVor.
