Sharon A. Diesenroth, 60 of Hale and formerly of Vanderbilt, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at St. Mary’s of Michigan in Saginaw.
Born on August 2, 1956 in Holly, Sharon was the daughter of Richard and Lorraine (Charlick) Cottrell. She grew up in Fenton and was a graduate of Fenton High School.
Sharon was a longtime resident of Vanderbilt where she was a home maker and bookkeeper for her former husband’s farrier business. Sharon was also a musician and the drummer in the band Jeannie and the Parables. She was a longtime member of Vanderbilt Community Church.
Sharon is survived by her sons, Jayson (Stacy) Diesenroth and Jaremi Diesenroth of Warren and Joseph Diesenroth of Petoskey; grandsons Alex and Richard; her parents, Richard Cottrell of Okeechobee, FL and Lorraine (Joseph) McDaniel of Sun City Center, FL; sisters, Diana (Randy) Spiece of Hale and Yvone (Larry) Gascoigne of Fenton; and her aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Vanderbilt Community Church where visitation will begin at 2:00 PM. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw.
