Rosella J Kosler

Rosella J. Kosler, 81 of Vanderbilt, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Vanderbilt. Born on February 20, 1932 in Comins, she was the daughter of Carl and Thelma (Chesler) Cohoon. A longtime resident of Vanderbilt, Rosella had worked at Tendercare of Gaylord and later as a home healthcare aide for Munson Home Healthcare. She retired in 2008. Rosella loved working in her yard, watching birds and working crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janie Foltz in 1971; a granddaughter, Mindy Dynae Hendrickson in 1973 and brothers Ralph, Raymond, Warren and Mike Cohoon. Rosella is survived by her children, Frances (David) Brink of Gaylord, Suzanne Abbe of Vanderbilt, Royce Lee “Buck” Abbe Jr. of Vanderbilt, Scott (Sherry) Abbe of Mio, Tawnee (Mike) Green of Vanderbilt and Gina Marie (Andy) Abbe of Mio; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Rhonda (John) Ardelean of Owosso, Pat (Jim) McDole of Sacramento, CA, Linda (Butch) Weber of Bluffton, SC, Mitch Cohoon of Fairview, Kathy (Lewis) Crawford of Hillman, Kevin Cohoon of Myrtle Beach, SC and Lydia Smith of Hillman. Services for Rosella will be held 1:00pm Saturday at the Vanderbilt Community Church with Pastor John Bifoss officiating. The family will gather with friends beginning at noon and a luncheon will follow the service. Those who would like may make memorial contributions to the family.
