Ronica A. Neuhoff-Bishop

Ronica Ann Neuhoff-Bishop, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on April 2nd at home in Boyne City MI.

Ronica was born in Ames, IA, the daughter of Martin and Christina Neuhoff.  She earned her Ungraduated Degree from the University of Norte Dame, and continued her formal education earning her MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Michigan State University.  Ronica practiced as an OBGYN in Toledo OH for nearly 30 years.  She was a compassionate and dedicated doctor, who delivered countless babies into the world and was an advocate for her patients and women.

Ronica is survived by her son Max Bishop and his father Robert Bishop, her parents Martin and Christina Neuhoff, her siblings – Eric and Christine Neuhoff, Charlynn (Neuhoff) and Terry McBee, and 10 nieces and nephews - Shane Novak, Gabrielle Novak, Jeremy Novak, Garrett Novak, Haley Gray, Chloe McBee, Jordan McBee, Kacey Gray, Whitney McBee and Brady McBee.  

Ronica had a beautiful spirit and was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She brought life, laughter, and love to this world.  She was selfless, giving, generous, sometimes to a fault, but that was who she was.  Her heart was in the right place 100% of the time, always taking care of those around her.
