Roger M. Brink, 60 of Vanderbilt, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Born in Gaylord on September 26, 1955, Roger was the son of Curtis W. and Kathleen (O’Rourke) Brink. He was a lifelong area resident.
Roger worked in construction for many years for Scott Haslett and for Keith McVannel. He also lived in New York and Pennsylvania for a time working in natural gas pipeline construction.
Roger was an avid woodworker and he has left his family members many examples of his work to cherish. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Surviving are his mother, Kathleen Brink of Vanderbilt; a sister, Brenda (Tom) Loshaw of Vanderbilt; a brother David (Fran) Brink of Gaylord and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Brink in 1966 and his father, Curtis Brink in 2007.
Roger’s family will remember him privately and a family graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Mary Cemetery.
