Robert D. Cook

Robert D. Cook, 68 of Wolverine, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan. Born in Flint on January 16, 1950 Robert was the son of Daniel and Harriet (Williams) Cook.

Upon retirement from General Motors, Robert moved to Lewiston and enjoyed living Up North. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, hunting, camping and being in the woods. His greatest pride and joy were his grandchildren.

He is survived by three children, Robert Cook of Howell, Nora (James) Aker of Gaylord and Greg (Mandy) Cook of Indian River; mother, Harriet Cook of Flushing;  six special grandchildren, Michael, David, Anthony, Taylor, Ronnan, Raven and sister, Ardis (Larry) McDonald of Flushing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Cook and his brother, David Cook.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place 12:00 PM Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service where the family will visit with friends beginning at 11:00 AM until the time of service.
