Robert W Grunow

Robert Ward Grunow of Hudson Township, passed away at age 50, on November 2, 2013 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. He was born November 23, 1962 in Petoskey the son of Marilyn J. Grunow and Robert E. Grunow. Robert was a graduate of Boyne City Public Schools class of 1981. He was employed with the Jervis B. Webb Company of Boyne City as a welder for many years, where he was appointed union steward by his peers. Everyone who had the pleasure to know him couldn't find a bad thing to say about him. He enjoyed hunting, the great outdoors including wildlife, gardening, and socializing with friends and family. Robert is survived and will be missed greatly by his daughter, Shandi Grunow of Boyne City; a son, Shane Grunow of Boston, MA; and the mother of his children, Cheryl Marculewicz of Boyne City; his parents, Robert and Marilyn Grunow of Boyne City; siblings, Daniel and his wife Deb Grunow of Cheboygan, Sue and her husband Jeff Mickolski of Boyne City; two nephews and one niece; and many other friends and family whom he loved very much. Please come and share in the celebration of his life on Saturday, November 16th at the Eagle's Lodge of Boyne City from 3pm - 6pm. Please bring a dish to pass if you can.
