Richard H. "Dick" Shall

Richard H. “Dick” Shall, 84 of Cheboygan, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at home. He was born in Cheboygan on June 17, 1935.

In 1977, Dick and his wife Joan owned and operated the All Sports Bar in Cheboygan for several years. The bar is still operating today, known as the Dirty Duck. He was also a mechanic, plumber and courier service driver. Dick enjoyed hunting, tinkering and fixing things, playing pool and going to the casino eating the buffet. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Dick always gave a helping hand to neighbors and friends. He was known as the handyman and keeper to widows in the neighborhood. He was a true friend and will be greatly missed.

Surviving is his wife, Joan of 63 years; his children, Gary (Jan) Shall of Charlotte, MI., Susan (Wally) Berden of Allen, TX., Shawn Shall of Cheboygan and Cheryl Dowker of Cheboygan; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister Anna Guyette and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Harry & Josephine; brothers, Joe, Frank, Jimmy and Charlie; sisters, Agnes, Kate and Tillie.

The family and close friends will have a private service celebrating Dick.
