Regena "Gena" M. Demaree

Regena “Gena” Marie Demaree, 54 of Gaylord, peacefully passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Munson Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born on December 3, 1968 in Wellsville, New York, Regena was the daughter of John Hoppe and Diane (Robert) Demaree.

Friends and family members would describe her as a very loving, kind, caring person with a great sense of humor, and always the first to help anyone in their time of need. She had a great love for her children and grandchildren. She had a passion for the Michigan Wolverines, her dogs, and spending time with family. She spent over 20 years with Enervest/V.C.P. and was very dedicated to her work and made many friends along the way.

Regena is survived by her husband, Gordon Miles; three children, Jessica (Ian) Cowles, Michael (Alyssa) Demaree and Daniel Miles; grandchildren, Ryder and Ava Cooper, Madison and Marcus Demaree; her parents, Robert Demaree, John (Dorothy) Hoppe; siblings, Robert (Alison) Demaree, Mark (Tracie) Demaree and Amy Hoppe; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Diane Demaree.

A Celebration of Gena's Life will take place Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Gaylord Eagles Hall, 515 S. Wisconsin Avenue, beginning at 3:00 PM with drinks, 5:00 PM for dinner. Please share your memories and personal messages with the family on her guestbook below.
