Raymond Milton Mouch, 98 of Gaylord Michigan, was taken by his Lord to his eternal home Monday, April 1, 2024, at Munson Medical Center surrounded by loving hearts near and far. Born March 2, 1926, in Detroit, MI. He was the son of George and Johanna Mouch.
Raymond served in the US Navy and US Army in WWII and the Korean War. After his commitment to our country, he then pursued his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and his master’s from Michigan State University.
On October 12, 1951, he married the love of his life, Dolores. Together they created 71 years of a wonderful life, raised 3 children and were inseparable with great love for one another. Raymond was an educator where he made a big impact on students, teachers, and community throughout the years. He enjoyed gatherings with his family and friends, golfing, square dancing, ballroom dancing, and playing musical instruments. Raymond enjoyed traveling with Dolores across the countryside. Raymond believed in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; his faith and church were a big part of his life. Raymond and Dolores were the pillars of their family and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his children, Danny (Christine) Mouch, James (Barbara) Mouch and Jo Ann (Roland) Aumock: 13 loving grandchildren, Danny (Joy), Heidi, Michael, Jeff (Josie), Joshua (Jeanne), Rachel (Jeremy), Natalie (Samuel), Nicole (Alex), Matthew, Ashley (Isaiah), Alli, Jason (Amy) and Eric (Jennifer). Special great grandchildren; Chase, Cody, Faith, Zeke, Levi, Ezra, Serenity, Selah, Zebediah, Felicity, Alexander, Evalyn, Isaiah, Elijah, Irelyn, Evan, Lily, Arie, Zach, Sami, Joseph, Katelyn, Benjamin, Isabella, Avery and Adalyn, Joshua, Alexson. Special Great Grandson, Hudson.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Mouch, his parents, George and Johanna Mouch, Brother George Mouch, Jr, Sister, Evelyn Bryne, and great grandchild, Levi Sefton.
Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church where the family will visit friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
