Patrick T. Rider

Patrick Thomas Rider, 57 of Gaylord, passed peacefully in his sleep August 25, 2016.

Born February 13, 1958, Patrick was the first born son of Richard V. and Barbara M. (Thomas) Rider, also of Gaylord.

An avid fisherman, Patrick had a passion for nature, a love of cooking, gardening and music; Jimmy Buffet especially.

He will be missed by his parents; his brothers, Daniel (Christine), Chris (Michele), Alan (Jodi), Earl (Marie) and Rich (Kathy); his sisters Laura (Matthew) Mashburn, Linda (Robert) Turner; and nephews and nieces Robert (Jenna), Stephen, Ronny Lautner, CT Turner, Travis, Hayden, Danielle (Robert) Piotrowski, Lexi (Joey)Turner, Rachel (Ernesto) Garcia, Ashley, Joslyn, Lydia, Ally; and great nieces and nephew Veronica, Azalea, Braelynne, Ernesto II Garcia; Patrick’s girlfriend Lori Salo and her family; and longtime family friend, Mark Reid.

The family wishes to celebrate Patrick’s life privately.
