Patrick Edward Flynn

Patrick Edward Flynn, 83 of Petoskey, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at home.  Born on August 21, 1932 in Harbor Springs, the son of Edward and Margaret (Neuman) Flynn.

Patrick had worked as a mechanic on farm tractors for Burnett Brothers and as a machinist at McLaughlin Company in Petoskey, from where he retired.

He enjoyed farming, excavating and visiting with his family, friends and neighbors.  He was a lifelong parishioner at St. Francis Catholic Church in Petoskey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Margaret Flynn.  Surviving are his sister, Mary Hofbauer; and nieces and nephews, Margaret (Dan) Hutterer, Marilyn Myers, David (Anna) Hofbauer and Edward Hofbauer all of Petoskey.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Gaylord, followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey.
