Patricia L. Reid, 75, of Sebring, Florida, and formerly of Gaylord, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at home. Born on October 9, 1945 in Piqua Ohio, she was the daughter of Ralph and Wilma (Fletcher) Davis.
On June 22, 1963, Pat Davis married Keith Reid, her high school sweetheart from Gaylord High, at First Methodist Church, in Gaylord, and they lived together for 57 years. They had two sons and made many friends as they lived in Troy, OH, Detroit, Gaylord, Thompson, and Elmira, MI, before moving to Sebring, FL.
Pat loved her family and her grandsons with all her heart. She was proud of her two sons, Todd and Tim, and was so happy when they married sweethearts of their own.
For over 20 years, Pat worked at Glens Market, in Gaylord, as the manager of the laundry and dry cleaning department and then at Cooper Standard for 2 years.
She looked forward to summers in Gaylord, seeing all her friends during Alpenfest, going to “Gaylord Days” in Bradenton, FL, and game night at Francis 1, in Sebring.
Pat was talented and creative. She loved sewing, crafts, and trying out new recipes. In earlier days, she loved dancing to music from the 50’s or a polka or a good country song with longtime friends. But she was just as happy later, floating on her raft in the pool, surrounded by new friends, laughing.
Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma (Fletcher) Schaible; her father, Ralph Davis and her younger brother, Steve Davis.
Patricia is survived by her husband W.S. Keith of Sebring, FL; her two sons, Todd (Elizabeth) Reid of Oak Park, MI, and Timothy Reid (Zhuo Li) of Glendora, CA; brother, Alan Davis of Palm Bay, FL; sister, Barbara Dragomer (Dick) of Berrien Center, MI; brother-in-law, Sherriel (Sheri) Reid of Casco, MI; grandchildren, Clayton Reid and Logan Reid of Oak Park, MI and many cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss their Aunt Pat.
A memorial service will take place 1:00 PM Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service where the family will visit with friends beginning at 12:00 Noon until the time of services. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery.
