Patricia Ann “Pat” Fetters, 58 of Vanderbilt, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Otsego Memorial Hospital.
Born August 16, 1957 in Ypsilanti, she was the daughter of John and Ann (White) Staskievitz. Raised in Ypsilanti with her sister and two brothers, Pat was a 1975 graduate of Ypsilanti High School where she was class president.
On April 7, 1990 Pat married Randy Allen Fetters. In 1994 they moved to Vanderbilt and purchased the Whippy Dip and Redwing Store which they have operated together for 22 years.
Pat loved her family. She enjoyed caring for others and for animals. She also enjoyed visiting area casinos, camping and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Callihan in 2001 and by her mom, Ann Staskievitz in 2015.
Surviving are her husband, Randy; her dad, John Staskievitz of Vanderbilt; her brothers, Jack Staskievitz of Vanderbilt and Rod (Tammy) Staskievitz of Carrolton, OH; her brother-in-law, David Callihan of Grosse Ile, MI; her mother and father-in-law, Donnie and Eddella Fetters of Ypsilanti; Randy’s two brothers and two sisters; 18 nieces and nephews including her niece, Melissa Powell with whom she shared a special and close relationship; many great nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Annie and Teddy; and her bird, Pete.
A memorial service and gathering will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Corwith Township Hall in Vanderbilt. The service will begin at 3:00pm with visitation and fellowship to follow. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Otsego County Animal Shelter.
