Patricia Ann Stamper, 72 of Gaylord, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. Patricia was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky on June 17, 1943, the only child of James and Hazel Goodrum.
Patricia and her husband Marvin celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past July 10th. They had two children together, Theresa Marie and Marvin Jr; their respective spouses, David Witt and Joan Stamper were dear additions to her family. Patricia’s greatest joy was spending time with her favorite grandson, Christopher and her favorite granddaughter, MJ.
“Pat” was a 5’5” spirited woman who faced her medical problem head on, never complaining even at the very end. She would tell all that asked, “I’m fine, thank you.” Pat’s career was that of devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was very talented. Words can’t describe the beautiful things she made. Pat enjoyed crocheting, sewing, painting and gardening. She was “The Best” southern cook and enjoyed making delicious meals for her family.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Fr. Tyler Bischoff officiating. Her family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
