Patricia Ann Loviska

Patricia Ann Loviska (Klein), 77, of Oxford and Grayling, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Northern Pines Assisted Living in Grayling, Michigan, surrounded by her daughters.

Pat was born on December 28, 1946, in Pontiac, Michigan to Gervase and Virginia (Brownell) Klein. She graduated from St. Michael’s High School in Pontiac in 1964. Pat married Dennis Loviska in 1965 and together they had 3 daughters.  Pat was employed by Curtis Publishing in Detroit where she had many friends and met her husband of 29 years, John Henson. Pat and John were married on Mackinac Island on October 4, 1990.

Pat lived a full life. She had a special talent for creating beautiful creations in needlepoint and crochet for family and friends. She loved camping with her husband, John, in the Pigeon River Forest. Pat will be remembered for her love of history, reading, football, and spirited games of Trivia Pursuit during the holidays.

Pat is survived by her daughters Tracy Renkiewicz of Gaylord, Amy Stier (Bernd) of Lake Orion, and Carol Loviska of Grand Rapids. Pat was a dear grandma to Natalie Stier, Daniel Stier and Shane Renkiewicz. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Angie Klein; beloved nieces Kari Klein and Katie Moser; and her extended Loviska family. 

She was preceded in death by her husband John Henson; parents; sister, Phyllis and brother, Larry; and son-in-law, Bob Renkiewicz. As per Pat’s wishes, her family will remember her privately. 

Her daughters wish to extend heartfelt thanks and love to the staff of Northern Pines Assisted Living in Grayling for their exceptional loving care of Pat.
