Patricia Ann Compeau

Patricia Ann Compeau, 66 of Gaylord, died at home on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, with her daughter by her side. Born in Detroit on February 17, 1948, Patricia was the daughter of Herschel and Mildred (Hoffman) Dever. She graduated from Allen Park High School in 1966. Patricia worked in the Detroit area for Michigan Bell, SS Kresge, Detroit Receiving Hospital and investment firm, Olde Discount. She had moved to Lewiston where she lived for several years, then to Gaylord in 2001. An avid bingo player, she regularly played at Alten Zimmer on Tuesday evenings. Surviving are her children, Christine (Jim) Ruby of Johannesburg and Mark (Maggie) Compeau of Westbrook, ME; grandchildren, Kari Seaman, Jessica Seaman, Jimmy Ruby, Riley Compeau and Elizabeth Compeau; two great grandchildren, Nora Newman and Elliot Ruby; a brother, Robert Dever and a sister, Deborah Burdo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel Dever and Mildred Tait. At her request, her family will remember her with a private gathering.
