Oscar G. “Gary” Johnson, 74, of Gaylord died on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at home. Gary was born in Detroit on November 13, 1937 to Oscar and Anna (Takas) Johnson. He was a United States Army veteran. Gary worked in a variety of positions and occupations and last worked in shipping and receiving for Solaronics in Rochester for several years before retiring to Gaylord from Lake Orion. Gary is survived by a daughter Jessica and a brother Mel and he was preceded in death by a brother Marvin. For the last 25 years he had shared his life with Karen M. Gronzo and she survives. They enjoyed their life together and spending time outdoors. At Gary’s request cremation will take place.
