Noreen Joann VanDenBoom

Noreen Joann VanDenBoom, 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior December 18,2021, with her family by her side in Grayling,Michigan.

Noreen was born November 26, 1949 in Bay City Michigan, to Alta (DeWyse) and Lester VanDenBoom.She graduated from Pinconning Area High School in 1967.

She worked at Mayfair Plastics and than Georgia Pacific in Gaylord. She was proud to receive her certificate from Michigan Career & Technical Institute in 2004.

Noreen enjoyed making Ceramics in her early years. She enjoyed going to Bingos, playing cards and games, especially scrabble. She loved being with family and friends. She was loving and caring and would help everyone, even strangers. Noreen did not have any children but was a wonderful mother to many.

Surviving her are her brother, Dennis (Carole  Teets) VanDenBoom; her sisters, Cecelia (Robert) Mandigo, Darlene McGillen, Mae (James) Pifher; her brother-in-law, Edward Casey;29 nieces and nephews, 48 great nieces and nephews, and 9 great great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Preceding her in death; her parents Lester and Alta; Her brothers, Gerard, Richard,Joseph, and Leslie; her sisters MaryKay LaBean, Dianne Symborski, and Janice Casey. Her brother-in-law, William McGillen.

Noreen will be cremated and a memorial will take place at a later date.
