Nancy C. Ungerman

Nancy Camille Ungerman, 81 of Waters, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, at Crawford Continuing Care Center.  She was born in Detroit, on September 23, 1941, the daughter of William and Grace Katke.   

Nancy worked several years for Northeast Michigan Council of Governments then in her later years she worked for Walmart.  She loved her job there, always meeting new friends always.  Nancy had a gift that she could talk to anyone about anything anytime.

She loved camping and doing anything with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents William and Grace Katke, her brother William (Barbara) Katke and her sister Kathleen (James) Coates, her husband Charles Ungerman, her niece Elizabeth Norris and stepson Michael Ungerman. 

Nancy is survived by her children, Valerie Simmons (Kevin Watkins), Todd (Andie) Johnston, Amy (Jerry) Sisovsky, Jay (Tammy) Johnston, Jon (Patty) Johnston, Bill (Rachel) DeGroot; 15 grandchildren,  Gary, Sean (Suzanne), Brandon (Tiffany), Heather (Rob), Courtney (Stu), Shane, Katie, TJ, Cody (Sara), Taylor (Garrett), Adam, Danielle (David), Mark (Allie), RaeAnn and Parker; 18 great-grandchildren, Shyla, Sable, Shali, Grant, Adira, Kayli, Easton, Entropy, Epsilon, Wally, Willa, June, Owen, Lilah, Peiton, Jordyn, Ryder, Karson, Brandon, Wyatt, Alaina, Brooks and Everleigh; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
