Michael J. Thorley

Michael John Thorley, 57 of Lewiston, passed away April 1, 2023, in Bay City.

Born July 24, 1965, in Wayne County Michigan to parents Karen Sue and Duane Russell Thorley.

Mike will be remembered for his sarcastic sense of humor, always being goofy, and all his ridiculous dad jokes that he would tell all the time. Mike loved his projects. At any given time, he had at least 1 project going. He enjoyed camping, going on trips, going to the waterfalls, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and riding his motorcycle when he could. But most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

He is survived by his children, Biz (Nick) Thorley of New Boston, MI, Ashley (David) Thomas of Johannesburg, Olivia (Angie Torres-Sanchez) Thorley of Lewiston, Billy Thorley of Lewiston, Joey (Abby) Gonzalez of Wyandotte, Nicky Gonzalez of Rockwood and Zack (Adrianna) Bruce of Rogers City, Jennifer Jones of Gaylord; grandkids, Jarod, Sheyenne, Naython, Elijah, Cameron, Cleyo, Colt, Brooklynn, Angel, Jessica, Brayden, Oliver, Jacqueline, Henry, Jenna, Jordan and Kaylee.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at 3:00 pm at the Charlton Township Hall, 10900 E. M32 Johannesburg MI 49751.
