Mathilda R. Redmond

Mathilda R “Tillie”(Shall) Redmond, 91 of Cheboygan passed away peacefully on December 2, 2017 surrounded by her family. Tillie was born on December 2, 1926 in Cheboygan, the daughter of Harry and Josephine Shall.

She married Tom Redmond on June 23, 1951 and they had two daughters. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Sondra (Jim) Goga and Ruth (Bob) Brackx; sister, Annie Guyette; brother, Richard (Joan) Shall; grandchildren Mike R.,Jody (Gary), Duane, Jolene (Allen), Stephanie, Bonnie (Eric), Jim (Rachel), Chris, Elizabeth (Matt), Katrina (Casey), Mara, Arnie, Sarah (Chris), Ivy, and Mike J.; great-grandchildren, Christian, Cameron, Devan, Brian, Angel, Bree, Justice (Thomas), Tommy, Lily W., Lark (Robert), Raven, Kerena, Noah, Ethan, Ashton, Landon, Gabbi, Amelia, Lily P., and Paul; great-great grandchildren, Paisley, Delilah, Maddox, Dallas; sisters-in-law, Monnie Shall and Ursula Shall; brother-in-law, Don (Barb) Redmond and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tom; sisters, Agnes Shall, Marie Stein, and Katie VanAlstine; brothers, Joe, Frankie, Jimmy, and Charlie; son-in-law, Robert Landire and great-granddaughter, Kimberly Nadorozny.

Gabbi wants Gramma to know how much “we all love her.” Special thank you to Rogers City Tendercare and Vital Care Hospice.
