Martin J. Boike

Martin J. Boike, 87 of Gaylord, MI, passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord surrounded by his family members.  Marty exhibited the all American work ethic and service to others.

In addition to serving our country in the Navy, he also served his home town as a Flint fireman and journeyman sheet metal worker.  He was a great husband and father.  We have many fond memories of family time together at Canadian Lakes and Gaylord, Michigan.  He really enjoyed living up north, watching all kinds of sporting events, and being the first in the dessert line.

Marty is survived by his beloved wife Maryann Boike, sons Mark and Rose Boike, Dave and Cherie Boike and Randy and Lisa Boike; grandchildren DJ and Jen Boike, Angela and Chip Middleton, Jake and Dana Boike, Jeffrey Boike, Drew and Jen Boike, and Kristen Boike; great grandchildren Gwyn Boike, Ava Boike, Trenton Boike, Boston Boike, Addison Middleton, Cooper Boike, Bella Boike, Emma Middleton, Gabby Boike. Survived by Brother Jim and Priscilla Boike, brothers in Law, Jim and JoAnn Ruhala, Fred and Marilyn Ruhala and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Preceded in death by his parents Jake and Mary Boike, brothers Jack, Tom, and Leo Boike.
