Mark T. Gardner Jr.

Mark T. Gardner Jr., 36 of Petoskey transitioned from this world to his eternal home on May 9, 2021.

He was a beloved father, son, brother and friend.

His daughter Sophie, was the pride and joy of his life. Mark was an avid golfer and skier and his number one partner was always Sophie. He looked forward to attending Bliss Fest every year with her.

He embraced Harbor Springs and Petoskey as his home.

He was a kind and gentle soul and an inspiration to all who knew him.

Mark is survived by his parents, Mark Sr and Ella Gardner; his daughter, Sophia Elizabeth Sunset Gardner and her mother, Karen VanAllen; his sister, Heidi Hamilton; niece and nephews, Alessandra, Andrew and Anthony Hamilton; his brother and very closest friend, Robert (Charlotte) Gardner and his nephew, Austin Robert Gardner.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marilyn and Ames Gardner and Georgiana and Robert Pierce.

A Memorial to celebrate his life is being planned and will be announced.
