Mark L. Knight

Mark L. Knight “Red”, 65 of Gaylord, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 4, 2020. Born in Wyandotte on April 8, 1955, he was the son of Hal and Elva (Schwartz) Knight.

Mark proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a truck driver for many years and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, spending time outdoors, joking around and making people laugh. He loved being around his family and making memories together.

On June 21, 1985 in Flat Rock, he married the love of his life, Jacqueline Blaser who survives. Also surviving are his sons, Jeremy (Angela), Jack and Wyatt; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; his sisters, Melva (Dennis) Boik and Vicky (Terri) Thigpen and his brother, Randy (Laurie) Knight.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog, Chevy.

A memorial service will take place 11:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2020 with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of services at Trinity Lutheran Church in Gaylord.
