Marian E. Walker

Marian Elizabeth Walker, affectionately known as Grandma Mary, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025. She was born on May 5, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to parents Milan and Julia Juronoc.

Mary is beloved by those who knew her and was a friend to all. Her kind, loving and caring spirit will be greatly missed. She spent most of her life in the Detroit area and loved the Detroit Tigers. She also loved playing card games, bingo and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Andrew C. Golac (Donna), Julie A. Shannon (James) and Diane M. Pitel (Tom). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Auburn (Ryan), Kelly, Tommy, Ann, Jennifer, Shane, Ryan, and Jason, and three great-grandchildren, Lily Ann, Jonathan and James.

She is preceded in death by her parents and stepmother Helen Juronoc.

The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
