Lynn Murray Hamp II

Lynn Murray Hamp II, 59 of Mancelona, passed away at home on Sunday, March 28, 2021.

Born in Pontiac, Michigan on October 15, 1961, he was the son of Lynn and Loetta (Lyon) Hamp.

Lynn had many talents, working over the years in constructions and painting and at a number of factories.  Fishing was his passion though and while living in Florida he worked at Brigadoon Fish Camp in Port Orange.  In his spare time, he enjoyed nature and the woods, the ocean, and time spent with family and friends cooking on the grill.

Lynn is survived by his children, Charlene Hamp of Mancelona, Pamela (Jose) Mendoza of Harrodsburg, KY and Zackary Hamp of Fon du Lac, WI; grandchildren, Waylin Hamp, Jonathan Mendoza, Nyssa Velazquez, Maraya Mendoza and Braydyn Mendoza; his parents, Lynn and Loetta Hamp of Mancelona; sisters, Lori (Dan) Hamp Harris and Jeannie (James) Hamp Allen; brothers, Loren (April) Hamp and Larry (Cindy Lou) Hamp; and many nieces and nephews.

Lynn’s family will remember him at a private family gathering.
