Dr. Lucien Joubert, “Dr. J”, of Petoskey died April 29th, 2016. He was born December 7, 1929, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
He was preceded in death by brothers Maurice and Rene (his twin) and is survived by his sister Pauline, and nieces and nephews all of Canada.
Lucien was an intelligent, charming, thoughtful and gifted man with a great sense of humor. He was always ready with “the joke of the day”. He was a physician, clinical researcher, musician, artist, author and photographer. During his career he traveled the world and spoke several languages. He was passionate about nature, tennis, golf and classical music. Chopin was his favorite composer. He found beauty all around him. Lucien loved his God and he loved his friends. We will miss him so very much.
A memorial service will be held at the Scatter Garden in Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey, MI this Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 5:30 PM.
