Lloyd W. VanWormer

Lloyd W. VanWormer, 53 of Gaylord passed away at home on Saturday, May 16, 2015.

Born in Lansing on September 11, 1961, he was the son of Daniel and Phyllis (Goddard) VanWormer.

Lloyd was raised in Wolverine where he also attended school. He enjoyed fishing, watching Lions football and spending time with family. For 16 years, he worked as an excavating operator at Robinson Construction. His pride and joy were his daughters.

He leaves behind his memory to be cherished by his daughters, Christina and Tiffany VanWormer of Gaylord; grandsons, Kaiden and Carson Graham of Gaylord; brothers, Kevin (Donna) VanWormer of Vicksburg, MS, Francis (Cindy) Curtis of Houghton Lake; sisters, Linda Wahlquiest of Waters, Theresa (Pat) Kohler of Gaylord and Christina (Travis) Krider of Gaylord; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel and Michael VanWormer.

A Celebration of Lloyds life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Roadside Park in Wolverine. He will be interred at Silver Lake Cemetery in Wolverine following the service.
