Lindsay R. Johnston

Lindsay Renee Johnston passed away peacefully on August 17, 2016. Lindsay was born February 21, 1985 in Castro Valley, California and returned to the Gaylord area as a young child.  She resided in the Gaylord area for most of her life.

After graduating from Gaylord High School, Lindsay worked in the customer service industry where she made many friends throughout the community.

Lindsay was known for her bright smile and bubbly personality.  She enjoyed her work with the public and had many friends.  In her free-time she enjoyed spending time with her nephews Blake and Camden.  Her presence will be missed by many.

Lindsay is survived by her mother, Leslie Jenkins of Gaylord; her brother Cody Johnston (Laura Somogyi) of Charlevoix; her nephews Blake Johnston and Camden Johnston; her Uncle Herb and Aunt Jill Jenkins of Gaylord; her half-sister Sunny Johnston of Malden, MO and many extended family members.

Lindsay was preceded in death by her father James Johnston, her beloved grandparents Duane and Shirley Jenkins of Gaylord and her grandparents James and Shirley Johnston from Lewiston and Arizona.

A celebration of Lindsay’s life for family and close friends will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Gaylord Fraternal Order of Eagles, 515 S. Wisconsin St.
