Linda L. Coon

Linda L. Coon, 71 of Petoskey, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. Linda was born on March 15, 1946 in Lansing, daughter of Alden and Alice (Bidwell) Coon.

Linda loved playing yahtzee, watching game shows, making ceramics, spending time at the casino and going on walks. For many years, she worked as a housekeeper in the Petoskey area. Her pride and joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her six loving children, Norm (Belinda) Cool, Betty Wilson, Dan Cool, Wayne (Dawn) Keck, Phyllis (Mark) Wodek and Kim (Lindsey) Keck all of Petoskey; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her brother, John (Sue) Cool; her sister, Donna Laws and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Clay and Lurene Griffith and her brother, Bruce Coolie.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Petoskey Snowmobile Club. Those who wish are asked to make memorial contributions to Hospice of Little Traverse Bay. Arrangements are by Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
