Leon R. Switalski

Leon R. Switalski, 94 of Gaylord, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at home. Born on May 15, 1925 in Gaylord, Leo was the son of Walter and Sophia (Krzyzak) Switalski.

Leo attended Red School, St. Mary High School and Alpena College.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Alex and Vera Switalski; his sister, Marcella O’Connor; nieces, Katherine, Mary and Annie and nephew, David.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Margaret Smolarz; and his brothers, Thomas and Leonard Switalski.

Services will take place at a later date.
