Lee William Magsig

Lee William Magsig, 74 of Gaylord, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Aspen Ridge Retirement Village.

Born on February 11, 1943 in Elmore, OH, Lee was the son of Stanley and Florence (Otte) Magsig.  He moved to Gaylord from Ohio as a child.

Lee was married to the former Margaret Novack.  She preceded him in death in 2003.

Lee worked for the Otsego County Road Commission, Dean Foods, the Gaylord Regional Airport, Tandem Transport and Elenz Trucking.  He enjoyed travel and camping.

Surviving are his children, Linda (Michael) Cogswell of Gaylord and Michael (Jeanna) Magsig of New Richmond, WI; grandchildren, Samuel Magsig and Kaspala Cogswell; a sister, Jeanne Haar of Elmore, OH and a brother, George (Judy) Magsig of Gaylord and his former wife, Shirley (Weisler) Magsig of Gaylord.

A graveside memorial service will be held later at Fairview Cemetery.  Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to Hospice of Michigan or the Otsego County Commission on Aging.
