Larry James Zimmerman

Larry James Zimmerman, 59 of Boyne City, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.

Born on July 24, 1958 in Petoskey, Larry was the son of William Edward and Shirley Ann (Inman) Zimmerman Sr.

A 1977 graduate of Boyne City High School, Larry had worked in the area at United Technologies, CSP and Essex.  He enjoyed fixing old tractors and saws, and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Larry is survived by his children, Muriel (Joe Nelson) Zimmerman of Pound, WI  Seth Zimmerman or Boyne City and Christopher (Felicia) Zimmerman of Alanson; grandchildren, Adrianna and Ryker; his father, William E. Zimmerman Sr. of Atwood; a brother, William (Christine) Zimmerman Jr. of East Jordan; a sister, Debbie May of Jacksonville, FL and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother.

In keeping with his wishes, Larry’s family will remember him privately.
